Governor Greg Abbott issued a proclamation yesterday authorizing political subdivisions holding general or special elections on May 2, 2020 to postpone their respective elections to the November 3, 2020 uniform election date. Travis County has recommended each political subdivision postpone their elections until November 3, 2020. The Travis County Clerk’s Office will not be conducting a May 2, 2020 election for any political subdivision.

Have You Moved Here from Another Texas County and Want to Vote?
A registered voter who moves into Travis County from another Texas county may be eligible to vote a Limited Ballot. A voter must be currently registered in their former county OR have applied for voter registration in Travis County after the registration deadline for an upcoming election. A limited ballot voter is entitled to vote on all federal and statewide races. Limited Ballots are available ONLY during the Early Voting period for the upcoming election at the main Early Voting location, the location is at Austin Community College, Highland Campus, 6101 Airport Blvd, Bldg. 4000, Austin, Texas 78752.
