County Clerk Announces
Electronic Campaign Finance System Kickoff

County Officeholders and Political Consultants,

Beginning with the January 2019 semiannual campaign finance report, the County Clerk's Office will accept campaign finance reports via electronic filing. While electronic filing is optional, we strongly encourage you to utilize the convenience of this new program. The new e-filing system is convenient, secure, and reduces paper, printing, and delivery costs. It combines the convenience of electronic filing for candidates and officeholders with increased search capacity for the general public.

To assist you in preparing to use the new electronic filing system and setting up your electronic filing account, we will be holding workshops on the following dates and times:

Wednesday, December 19, 2018 Tuesday, January 8, 2019
10 AM 10 AM
2 PM 2 PM

Both workshops will be held in the Elections Division Training Room, 5501 Airport Blvd, Austin, Texas 78751. Please RSVP for a workshop timeslot by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. During the workshop, we will provide you with detailed filing instructions, so please bring a copy of your last filed report (if applicable) and any supporting documents needed to file your semiannual January 15, 2019 report. This will decrease the amount of time needed to file electronically. If you wish for your campaign consultant or support staff to attend in your place just let us know.

If you have questions or need more information, please contact the County Clerk's Office - Elections Division at 512-854-4996.

The Travis County Clerk maintains the county's records, administers elections, and oversees legal documentation (such as property deeds, marriage licenses and assumed name certificates).
